RISE Tool Library

Building Resilience Through Shared Resources

At RISE, we believe that access to tools should never be a barrier to learning, creating, repairing, or improving your quality of life.

The RISE Tool Library is a community resource that allows individuals and families to borrow tools instead of purchasing them. Whether you're tackling a home repair, starting a garden, building a project, learning a new skill, or helping a neighbor, the tools you need should be accessible and affordable.

By sharing resources, we reduce waste, lower financial barriers, strengthen community connections, and empower people to solve problems together.

This is more than a collection of tools—it is an investment in self-sufficiency, mutual aid, and community resilience.

Why a Tool Library?

Many tools are expensive to purchase and are only used occasionally. At the same time, countless tools sit unused in garages, sheds, and workshops throughout our community.

The RISE Tool Library creates a practical solution:

  • Increase access to tools and equipment

  • Reduce household expenses

  • Encourage DIY learning and skill-building

  • Support home, garden, and community improvement projects

  • Promote environmental sustainability through sharing and reuse

  • Strengthen neighbor-to-neighbor connections

When resources are shared, everyone benefits.

Community Support & Donations

A Community-Powered Resource

The RISE Tool Library began with a simple idea: when communities share resources, everyone becomes stronger.

This project is being built through the generosity of neighbors, volunteers, local businesses, and community partners who believe that access to practical resources can create meaningful change.

Every donated tool, volunteer hour, and community partnership helps increase access and opportunity for others.

Together, we are creating a resource that belongs to the community and serves the community.

This is where it all starts - the little shed in my backyard.
