Ronni Martorello is the founder of RISE (Resilient Innovation for Sustainable Enterprise), a nonprofit dedicated to building community-driven solutions that strengthen resilience, connection, and opportunity.

Inspired by her own journey overcoming poverty and adversity, Ronni understands that lasting change requires more than access to resources—it requires belonging, encouragement, and people who believe in one another. Those experiences shaped her commitment to creating pathways where individuals and families can thrive.

Through RISE, she is developing an ecosystem of initiatives that integrate wellness, education, mutual aid, and community engagement, including projects such as Mellissa's Garden, the RISE Tool Library, and the RISE Mutual Aid Cabinet.

Her work is guided by a simple belief: when communities invest in one another, transformation becomes possible. By fostering connection, dignity, and hope, she is helping build stronger, healthier communities where everyone has the opportunity to rise.
